I was supposed to shoot Haru's friend originally, but she suddenly canceled leaving me without a model.

Luckily she was able to arrange a friend willing to take her place, and that's how I met eighteen year old Haru. She is the tiniest thing, one of the smallest girls I've ever photographed. Initially she was very quiet and shy, and I thought she wouldn't be very enthusiastic.

I'm known to be wrong from time to time, and that day was no exception. Once she took off her glasses and undressed, it was like business as usual. Haru is a gamer and comic book nerd, and usually dates older guys. She was a delightful model and cute as a button. She reminded me of the old adage not to judge a book by its cover.
